When the kiddo was born, I went a little crazy with air quality monitors and purifiers. This is LA so that seemed important. And even with the fires, etc., the biggest lesson I've learned is:
Holy crap don't have gas ovens/stoves. And open the windows when cooking with them.
@mttaggart I remember I was looking at houses a few weeks ago and my Realtor did full pearl clutching Karen when I said if the house had a gas stove, it would be immediately removed.
Like, pollution and splody-gas aside, why would I use it over induction? Asking for a friend.
@mttaggart Here's a great video on just how bad gas stoves are.
Even a standard electric stove is far superior (maybe not quite as fast, but it's very close!).
If you're worried about speed over all else, induction is where it's at.
