Well I'm surprised. I was convinced nobody but me did a solder-solder connector and everybody else was doing solder-crimp.

Another thing I noticed is that, if this poll is to be believed, the solder-solder people seem to just quietly do their thing, while the solder-crimp folks are very vocal about it. 😉

Reminds me of the old joke that goes how do you know there's a pilot at the party? He'll tell you. 😆

@arth I’ll solder the center pin, and that’s it. I must have melted six feet of dielectric before I learned my lesson and got a crimper
