Grogmagog@TheMetalDog A big part of me thinks the whole reason bands want "phone free experiences" is so there's no evidence they're using backing tracks.
Hah! I think that's part of it.
I also think there's something missed when the eye contact is missing because they are pointed at the phone instead of the stage ego.
I think I read Halford saying that it was annoying to have the phone lights shining at you, but I'm not sure I track with that. After all, you're on stage with many lights pointed at you.
