@MLNow but he's lost respect from so much of the SF bike committee for complaining about every version of the bike lanes in front of his shop. He claims his customers drive.

@kurt @MLNow It seems odd to do such a lengthy story without even mentioning that, but I guess this sort of article tries to avoid anything even a tiny bit negative?

@soaproot @kurt @MLNow Do y'all know if he actively opposed the latest, side-running iteration, too? Or has he mellowed out? That said, I personally still hold a grudge. When I found out he was a bike lane opponent a few years ago I ripped the "Valencia Cyclery" sticker off my bike that I'd bought there, lol. I go to Don Rafa's for repairs now.

@scott @kurt @MLNow Probably like you I formed my opinion in the heat of..... whatever we call what was going on a few years ago..... and I don't really have anything to go on other than a few words and actions from then.
