🧵 1/2

This month, finally got Medication A optimized to address Condition A, which is a major super huge big win. Then began Medication B to address Condition B. Side effects from Medication B aggravate Conditions A and C, but it takes a month or so to find out if Medication B actually helps Condition B.

It's not worth it to reoptimize Medications A or C until I know whether or not it's worth it to continue taking Medication B. So now resuming Medications C and D to deal with shortfall in Medication A's efficacy, which has been caused by starting Medication B.

And how very grateful I am that at this moment in my history I have stable access to Medications A-D+. Has not always been the case.

Tho grateful...the meds tinkering is still exhausting.

25 minutes 'til I can take more pain meds for Condition A, which is at pain-scale-7 yesterday/today. Ow. My spouse watched me kind of slump into my chair to eat dinner yestereve and remarked that in his humble observational opinion, he hates my new Medication B, which is aggravating Condition A. I cannot in this moment disagree with him. But I'm over halfway thru my MedB trial month now, and I'm stubborn. Just also tired.

Welp, completed my month & gave up on Medication B. Side effects subsided within a couple days, and Medcation A has resumed going strong as my current treatment for Condition A. Medication B did successfully improve my experience of Condition B, but the pain-inducing side effects plus long-term health risks are not worth the benefit. Now asking: do I want to try a new med right now for Condition B? Fails eat so much time.
