In boring news, used a post-hole digger to make a new 24-inch weed morgue. It's a space-efficient way to compost on sites where there's no room for a normal pile. And if you're on the fence about buying a post-hole digger, you can also use it when planting tomatoes. I like 2-foot holes filled with compost. The depth encourages deep roots so that plants don't get immediately water stressed on hot days. #tomatoes #garden #gardening #allotment #tools

I hired one a few times. They are a T frame with either a 4 inch or 6 inch diameter screw. You just turn the handles clockwise and extract periodically.

@lionelb That sounds moderately fun. Ideally need a reversible screw so that your muscles don't bulk up asymmetrically.
