I was going to install Windows, just in case I need it, on the spare drive I have in my PC, but the Windows installer has decided that it doesn't have any drivers for the storage devices in the PC that it was installed upon until a month ago...

So I guess I'm raw-penguining it 😅

@bitflipped That's a pretty easy fix, if you want to have a copy of windows. (Just google it).

@Da_Gut I did google it, and tried multiple solutions which didn't work, but tbh I got tired of investing time into getting an OS to work that I haven't actively used in two months.

Also Windows not being able to see Samsung or Western Digital drives seems like the universe sending me a signal not to bother 😅

@bitflipped Interesting. Yeah, if it had become a time sink, then I wouldn't go past the time frame I thought worth it to invest either.

It could be as simple as linux created partitions/file systems, or a controller driver though.

Sorry, it's the type issue that used to be my bread and butter, so on occasion it still grabs my attention against my will.

While I'm not 100% thrilled with the mental image "raw-penguining it" conjures up, I'm definitely keeping the phrase in mind for future use.
