@dickrubin716 Very appropriate quote, as when I went that route, I used time travel. Of course, for the sequel I now have to have a different antagonist. :)

@QuasiTemporal I do love the #BTTF series, it’s only loosely related to my #WIP. My story unfolds through alternating chapters. The evens are present day with the MC and his life long friends. The odds go back to their high school days 20 years prior and slowly catch up to the present. I’m a good chunk into writing and realize I don’t have a true protagonist yet. So, not quite time travel but is looking at two different periods of time for the MC and friends

@dickrubin716 The series is one of my favourites, to the point where I have the animated cartoon series and comic book series as well.

That's an interesting technique. Reminds me of Stephen King's "It", which I haven't read but heard was similar (after the movies). Protagonists can be a team.
