Haha, yes, I remember the parrots in London as well. 🤭 There are several populations in big German cities too, but not where I live. The storks don't interact with people, not that I know of at least. Their nests are so high and they feed on the surrounding fields, so they not really in the town, but perched above. But they are very popular and sometimes featured in the local news when something out of the ordinary happens (arriving too early/late, deaths, very successful breeding seasons and so on; some pairs even get named). Here's a nest in my parents village. The chimney belongs to the old school
