@snowdusk I used #XFCE aplenty on my previous dual core no hyperthreading laptop with 4 Gb RAM. I always liked the likeness to #Gnome2, my first #Linux experience. Switching from #Windows, it cast a spell of silence on the laptop. I love this choice for a limited - resource machine. I wish XFCE had more contributors. I think it is a very important project, with very cool options.
@Satiah I wish I could try xfce 4.2 but debian 12 right not is stuck with 4.18... I like stability and so I will wait until debian actually moves to 4.2. I don't mind using old versions of software as long as they are stable πŸ˜…
@snowdusk That's exactly why I couldn't be an admin. Waiting isn't my strongest suit. πŸ€ͺ You know, it is a serious case if I tell you I moved from #Manjaro to #OPENSuse, because the latest #KDE was stuck in Testing repositories for too long. πŸ€ͺ I guess I like living on the edge.
