Is there something like a coversation guide for stalling and diverting border police who are using racial profiling?
@kora
You mean something like:
* Please show me your ID, too.
* Where are you from? ... No. I mean originally.
* Do you like your job?
* Do you have to work overtime now? Do you get paid for it?
* What is your favourite holiday destination?
* How do you determine your random samples?

@pascal Yeah, but I don't think these particular examples don't work as well as they could. Its a bit too forward.

The goal is not to "check" them, the goal is to engage them in a conversation that will take time and might cause them to self-reflect if it goes super well. Misdirect them. Distract them, have them spend more time chatting and less time going after racialized people.

@kora
It's called "oh wait, I think my ID is somewhere at the bottom of this full backpack. I am so sorry to stall your very important attempt to keep me safe. Here, could you hold this quickly? Again, I am absolutely sure it's in there, this is just emberassing. No I know I don't have to worry sir, I mean we're both white, aren't we?"
@ranja This won't work, because I don't get controlled. They just walk straight to the black or brown people, past me and past most travelers.
