To me it seems their only interest is to make money without providing me any service what-so-ever. What am I missing there (if anything)?
@airwhale @noybeu it's meant to cover situations where the processing of personal data is required to comply with other legal obligations, e.g. a court warrant could prevent the exercise of the right to be forgotten, or financial records rules would require keeping transaction data for a certain number of years.
The surveillance-industrial complex is spuriously conflating this as "because I really, really want to".
