Can anyone recommend a "Skype replacement?"
My needs are simple: call US toll-free numbers from my Windows laptop (or Android tablet) in Germany.
Big plus if it takes PayPal.
I'm currently using my landline, which is 2.6 cents/minute. 🙄 €2.60/100 minutes.
Doable, but... it adds up. I use a lot of minutes, easily totaling a few hours, in any given week.
Skype was cheap. This is not.
Which brings up another question. Do EU telephone numbers show up on US caller ID as a phone number, or "Unavailable"/"Anonymous"?
