Personally, I prefer smaller and lighter devices.

I remember when tool-free swappable batteries were the norm. The smallest computer Apple ever made at the time was the PowerBook G4 12”. 1.18" thick, 4.6 lbs, 3-hour battery life.

Compare that to my current MacBookPro 14". 0.61” thick, 3.5 lbs, 17-hour battery life. And it's not the thinnest or lightest computer Apple currently makes.

And then there's the cell phones. Current models are bigger than I want. Please let’s not make them even bigger than this by adding in modular battery bays!

And certainly, please let's not make it the law that I don't get to make that choice.
