Thanks to #Descartes, "the danger of #insanity has disappeared from the very exercise of reason. #Reason is entrenched in full self-possession where it can encounter no other traps than error, no other dangers than illusion. Descartes' doubt banishes #madness in the name of the doubter [...].
Madness is now exiled.

“I don’t feel that it is necessary to know exactly what I am. The main interest in life and work is to become someone else that you were not in the beginning. If you knew when you began a book what you would say at the end, do you think that you would have the courage to write it?

"What is true for writing and for love relationships is true also for life. The game is worthwhile insofar as we don’t know where it will end.”

Autism is an illegible feature

"How disabling it is depends as much on your social circumstances as it does on your symptoms."
"It turns out that, actually, most people are uncomfortable around social difference and get considerably less comfortable when you point it out."

‘I came out as autistic. Everyone said: That explains a lot’

An autism diagnosis helped Laurie Penny make sense of their experiences, but its real value was in helping them understand the rest of society

@estelle
Everything, including each human, is part of a relational field. I wonder if Foucalt is possibly hinting at this.
Certainly his writing has to be considered even more so in this time of Hospicing Modernity. But also intuition, has to be respected along with ancient wisdom and observed as valuable insights into what could be or maybe already is if we open up to it.
@Herefordrob
I hope that I incorporate wisdom and improve my intuition by reading (Foucault in this instance).
