Graham Sutherland / Polynomial@yagfox fwiw I see maybe 10-15% of your posts at the time you post them, 'cos around 2000 posts cross my feed in an average day so individual ones often get lost in the flood. doesn't mean I don't care, I just don't always see it. and even if folks aren't interacting with your posts very often, it doesn't mean they don't care about you! social media metrics are a very poor proxy for that kind of thing.
@yagfox I know you feel lonely a lot of the time and I'm sorry. it's not fun, and I know it must sting when you're posting stuff and you get nothing back. but as I always say, feel free to drop me a DM on here, or off-site (can't remember if you're on signal or whatsapp or whatever, will DM you info in a sec) if you want to chat. lasers, life, whatever.

After witnessing your craft at EMF last year I gave you a follow out of sheer respect and awe for your laser work.
What I didn't know is you're an active community member that gives back in so many ways, and I love it!
I'm disheartened to read that you're trying to measure "care" through metrics though, that ain't it boss. Some of use are silent admirers.
