Prime Minister’s science prizes recognise outstanding achievements in agriculture, anxiety, virology, science teaching and phytoremediation

A team generating significant economic and environmental benefits from improving a plant partner of rye grass, a scientist developing a multidisciplinary approach to understanding and managing anxiety and a virologist communicating about pandemic threats have been recognised in the latest Prime Minister’s Science Prizes.  A science teacher seeking equitable outcomes for his students and a student using fungi to enhance the filtering of water pollutants by plants were also recognised.
