Do you have any experience with dataline extension on a WS2811?

I have 6 parts with at least ~4m dataline in between. And I think that is too much and need to be amplified somehow.

@Ollivdb I don't, but the holiday light enthusiasts do and they say that you should use a single pixel inline as a repeater. You can even buy WS2812 chips that don't light up for that purpose (HolidayCoro sells them last I looked).
