Fun fact: The Showpalast was originally built for the horse show "Apassionata", but it's now used for events of all kinds.

@tsdgeos Albert your post made me think: Can't the linux desktops all just get along and join forces? Gnome/KDE/Cinnamon etc. I am all for diversity but GNU/Linux needs the strongest possible contender to the big players. No? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Clarify "get along" and "join forces". They aren't fighting, so they are getting along just fine. Joining forces is expressed in the FreeDesktop standard, Wayland, Desktop Portal, etc.
