Gorsuch (his voting record for Native Americans is solid) Sotomayor Kagan and Jackson are the only ones they can count on in SCOTUS

@anna_lillith Do you have specific information to call our members of Congress?

@anna_lillith I get it - it's hard - because foreign companies ravaging the land that americans have and want badly isn't national security to me, but the opposite - https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona-environment/2025/05/05/federal-court-to-hear-plea-to-halt-a-land-swap-for-oak-flt-copper-mine/83371238007/ . Still - you have to think about apache culture - you can see the feathers that're being worn. It also looks like leather, which isn't surprising since they eat animals off the land - https://www.ihs.gov/sites/diabetes/themes/responsive2017/display_objects/documents/training_seminars/Handout_ApacheDiet.pdf . It's not like they're protecting the land much either. So how're they going to defend against wrongdoing if they're not much better? That's why it's important for native american tribes to really step up their game for being ethical to show what really is at stake.

Otherwise it's going to be like the case where there's people that complain about elon musk's rocket launching destruction on the environment when those very complainers are fishing, and placing nets in the water, and running around on beaches. It just makes these fights sound selfish - where certain people want to take land for themselves to ravage only, no one else.

So if they have nothing to prove outside of how much they want the land to decimate to keep others from it, I have a feeling they're going to lose this case outside of religious stances, which I don't see how it'll really make a difference if the religion is destructive.

What would be best is if no one tarnishes the land for themselves - not the apache nor foreigners. Everyone needs to do their part in order for us to survive as a whole and for the planet to remain intact.

For Trump destroying indigenous culture is just a bonus to the main goal of environmental destruction.
