My next move towards more ethical eating is to stop with any kind of big fast-food chains. Local slop only.
This will not only help me eat less unhealthy food and less meat but also give that money to small businesses in the community and, in some cases, local production.

We're finding in our area that anytime we eat out we get sick.
Like anything.

@HipsterDM Yeah, I feel you on that. I live in France though and food safety is pretty okay, especially compared to the US. Back when I lived in the US, I wouldn't eat any meat for a lot of reasons, one of which was hypgene. But slop is slop though, local or not; ideally, I shouldn't be eating it.
