In the 2000s I got more and more nostalgic regarding my former years as a game pixel artist. Developing the voxel style allowed me to pay tributes to childhood pixel nostalgia, while at the same time literally establishing a new dimension. 🙂

1. Use a grid with X 16px Y 8 px or same ratio.
2. Draw a cube with Line too. Add shading.
3. Grab your cube as a brush and start piling up them.
4. If you need to draw "behind" a previous one, Make a Stencil to protect all foreground colors.
