I wish the travel CPAP was more comfortable and I didn't have to pack the larger CPAP for longer trips.

I tried using the travel CPAP for a week long trip and it was genuinely miserable.

Frustratingly, in many countries finding distilled water is hard, so it's actually easier to pack a water filter- but that is large and bulky.

@serge for travel, I just get a bottle of filtered water from the bodega (not mineral water, of course). If there's any deposits, I just scrub them out. Resmed's plastic tanks suck anyway, so I have to get a new one every year. And absolutely no tap water; that's how you get brain-eating germs. 🙃

@serge correct, yeah. If I can't find distilled, I grab regular bottled water, as long as it's filtered at the source and isn't mineral water or from a well.

I'll give it a think. Bringing a Zero Water filter is a pain, but I should think about which is a bigger pain!

Turns out all the water sold in Israeli supermarkets is mineral water. We looked through online at all the water, and it all says spring water (and shows the high mineral content) or it's spring water *with extra minerals*.

Oh well. Good idea but I'll be bringing the filter.

@serge Yeah, sorry, man. I seldom go to such exotic locales. That being said, I do have a false tank for my ResMed 11 that pipes the pump directly into the port so I can use it without water (that or I can just turn off the water tank heater in settings and run a dry tank). Bon Voyage!
