I’ve noticed I’ve been banned from 9 communities where I’ve never participated. These bans appear to stem from comments I made in a community on another instance. I’m not contesting these bans themselves, but I am concerned about the stated reason: ‘Transphobia.’ I want to clarify that I made no transphobic comments in the original thread, nor have I posted anything transphobic in any of these communities (where I’ve never actually posted). Having this label repeated 9 times on my profile’s modlog creates a misleading impression about my character and values. While I respect your authority to moderate your communities as you see fit, I’m requesting that the ban reason be amended to something that accurately reflects the situation, rather than attributing views to me that I don’t hold. I don’t wish to have the bans reversed - just to have the stated reason corrected. Thank you for your consideration.

Probably something you said came across weird the way you phrased it, I had a comment deleted for transphobia despite being trans because I just made a badly phrased joke

I was calling out the sexism of a community. It was a community that was deleting any comment made by a woman, and banning them. They were doing it openly and would create entire threads based on how difficult women are to be around or work with. I was trolling them a bit to get my point across, but I was never transphobic. This was retaliatory for making a mod upset.
