Federal prosecutors accused Dugan of hindering immigration agents who arrived to arrest Eduardo Flores-Ruiz without a judicial warrant outside her courtroom on April 18. Dugan allegedly tried to help Flores-Ruiz evade arrest by allowing him to exit through a jury door, although agents arrested him outside the courthouse.
The government did not seek to detain Dugan after her arrest and she was released from custody on Friday by a federal magistrate judge in Milwaukee. She is scheduled to enter a plea on May 15.
I know she is accused of being insufficiently cooperative with the administration and their ICE thugs, but specifically, what law do they allege she broke?

There most certainly *is* some higher law protecting people from government tyranny. It is we the people.
Only if they stayed on the scene to be arrested. Even then, the case could be beaten in court with the necessity defense. The kidnappers did not identify themselves. No normal person would assume they we government agents. Real government agents identify themselves and come equipped with the proper warrant. Anyone else, until due process enables them to *prove* they are government agents, is assumed not to be. Ergo, what they are doing is a serious crime, kidnapping. Citizens have, not just the right, but the duty to uphold the law by any means necessary.

I'm a pot head. That means that for most of my adult life I was a criminal. Now it's legal, so I'm not. Nothing in behavior changed. I smoked when I wanted to, and didn't when I didn't, same as I do today. It was my choice, not the government's. I'm a free person, so like the song says, "Fuck the police." They're not as smart as they think they are.

I had heard about a US citizen being arrested/detained for half a day in Florida I think and had heard about the deportation of a couple non-citizen mother's with their citizen children (one who lost access to cancer treatment!), and I recall the non-citizen husband of a citizen being sent to that prison in El Salvador, but I had not heard about a US citizen being sent to El Salvador.
