If I've never used anything other than a mouse before, should I bother with a vertical mouse, or should I go straight to trying out a trackball?
@katja I have a trackball and it’s great if you don’t have a lot of space for a mouse. The downside is it’s a nightmare for anything that requires precision.

@kobilacroix @katja I use a #ThinkPad-style #Trackpoint integrated in the 65% #Keyboard but since #Lenovo #enshittified that, #TEX is selling good alternatives...

And yes, I'm mad the KU-1255 was discontinued for a 3x expensive version just so Lenovo doesn't have to offer a wired version and a bluetooth version.

If you can, try a trackpoint espechally when you're more typing than mousing...
