Claire McNab@Natasha_Jay Sadly, cruelty to minorities often works for those who use it to gain or hold power. It's a significant part of #Tory politics, both the broken #BlueTories and the currently ruling #RedTories 😞
It doesn't cure the unhappiness, but that deficiency is remedied by finding a new target.
Cruelty to the jobless failed? Hurt the migrants.
Kicking migrants leave you still unhappy? Freeze some pensioners.
Still miserable? Destroy trans lives.
And so on.
