It's not that #SyntheticVoices are all female that really makes me think they are so much more likely to be a medium of #technosexism, it's that they all sound aboutt two steps away from becoming Stepford wives. Why can't I have someone more...bluesy? I'm trying out siri's voice 5 and the vibe I'm getting is more alto, but "subtle characteristics of Afrircan American vernacular English"? I'm not hearing it. Anyway, fantastic there is finally more than Nass's book on the subject.
