A few weeks ago, an obviously photoshopped picture of illegally detained prisoner Kilmar Abrego Garcia's hand was widely shared.

Someone had photoshopped the letters M S 1 3 onto his fingers, to explain how Garcia's finger tattoos could perhaps be interpreted as hinting at the gang name — for instance, his smiley face finger tattoo could perhaps mean S and so on.

But after all this time, Trump still thinks the photoshopped letters are a tattoo, and none of his advisers have told him otherwise.

See earlier post about the picture:

@randahl the #Orange needs glasses ... or brain

@randahl there are lots of Orwellian parallels drawn about Trump but this seems the bleakest

“Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four.” Winston Smiths diary.

Trump is defining the truth as something we know to be factually incorrect. It is unAmerican to deny it

"In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it...If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable—what then?"
