Drama Recs Challenge!
Looks like this is happening even though I barely have enough k-dramas in my bag. Was gonna post it yesterday but life happened.
Day 1: Their First Drama
Business Proposal - Funny, colorful, bubbly romcom with the right amount of tropes and not that much (forced) angst. Only 12 episodes too instead of the usual 16, so more bingeable. Legendary second leads.

Day 3: Gripping Thriller
My Mister - Superb drama. Who knew structural engineering could be this thrilling. Lots of twists and turns intertwined with some very down to earth warmth. Highly recommended.

Day 4: A Powerful Performance
Extraordinary Attorney Woo - Park Eun Bin turns in an extraordinary performance playing autistic lawyer Woo. A very enjoyable and heart warming drama.

Day 5: A Compelling Historical
Due to recency- and PEB-bias I changed this at the last minute.
The King's Affection - This has everything from palace scheming to (convincing) cross dressing. 20 eps is long but if you're in the right mood this is perfect.

Day 6: An Office Romance
There are hundreds of these ones so I just got to pick one: Love Scout - Perhaps nothing genre breaking but I like the tension and chemistry and there are a lot of cute moments.

Day 7: An Ensemble Cast
This is a tough one, so have to go with about the only thing that somewhat fits from my watched list: Moving - A school, superhumans and govt agency intrigues. Never really knows what's going to happen.

Day 8: A Slice Of Life
I just had to get this drama on the list and today's category is as good a fit as any. My Liberation Notes - In some ways it feels like a hyper realistic slice of life and in others very dreamy. Absolutely a slow burn so the correct state of mind is needed when viewing. But if you're in the right place it is a beautiful drama in all aspects; both happy and sad.

Day 9: A Twisty Revenge
The hard part of this one is to dare to pick one of the obvious candidates that @AnnaAnthro already mentioned. However, today I'm feeling brave 
so let's go with: The Glory - Bullying victim gets revenge... yeah, that's about it?! Great production and acting all around.

The Witch: Part 1 - A lost girl finds a new home and family and realises her dream of becoming a singer… with a twist.

A bit apprehensive about todays choice because of …, but anyway
Queen of Tears - This has almost everything; chaebols, white trucks, memory loss, side arcs, umbrellas etc. I think the only thing missing is time travel.
… guess the tropes even spilled over into the real world. 💀
Kim Ji Won is great as always.

I immediately thought of Mr Sunshine but that's been mentioned already so I'm cheating a bit and going with something that I haven't quite finished yet 😅 : When Life Gives You Tangerines - Everything I've seen so far has been beautifully done in a subtle way.

Day 13: A Hilarious Comedy
Barely watched any "kcomedies" as humor sometimes requires cultural knowledge, so short list😅 . Gaus Electronics was on my list since the beginning but it's been mentioned already so I'm throwing in Sh**ting Stars (more Rom than Com) for free. Light hearted office setting "comedies". Gaus is a bit heavier on the puns so big thanks to the Viki translators for bringing ALL THE NOTES

Doctor Slump - Ah, I get warm and fuzzy just thinking about this one. It was exactly what I needed when I watched it; soo healing.
(The PHS PSH chemistry is off the charts ).

Day 15: Some Undeniable Chemistry
It would be easy to go with something like Bong Bong and Min Min here 
but lets take a different route: Blood Free - Corporate scifiy thriller with no intention of romance. However, the chemistry between the leads is something else. Only 10 eps so pretty easy to get done.

Day 17: Enemies To Lovers
This is a pretty common drama theme, but lets spice it up a bit and do a combo.
Our Beloved Summer - Well done childhood/school enemies to lovers fare with a beautiful soundtrack and some nice twists. However, if you combine it with The Witch: Part 1 as a prequel you get some real ENEMIES to lovers action.

Not really being into the fantasy genre in kdrama-land I'm going to be lazy today and just go with, you guessed it: Alchemy of Souls - Entertaining, could fit into the "all the tropes" category, funny. It's also forever staring at you on the Netflix home screen if the algo gets a whif of kdrama interest

There are a lot of good Korean zombie movies and series, but lets go with a happy one Happiness - A bit of a twist on the zombies, Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo) is a badass and best proposal in kdrama land. Also PHS.

Another case of when my watched list isn't really diverse enough so a bit forced choice: Study Group - An unexpected group of students helping each other succeed in school and life....

Day 24: Time Travel Tale
A Time Called You - I was glued to this one even though it stabs you in the heart. Complicated and suspend all physics disbelief (as with most time travel tales) but they somehow make it work. Nostalgia, mystery, thriller, sweet.

Yay, managed to finish this challenge. It's been fun following all the recommendations; my "to watch" list has inevitably grown. 😅
I was a week and a half too late for this. 
For "reasons" I haven't managed to read/finish any books the last few years. However, this challenge and coincidence pushed me over the edge; finished She Who Became the Sun in a couple of days. What a ride. Prime material for a #cdrama / #kdrama
