Help us challenge the Supreme Court’s judgment on trans rights | Good Law Project

Good Law Project
@Natasha_Jay In a just world, the UK Parliament/US Congress would pass a law protecting trans rights, but we all know that is not the time period in which we live.

@Fat_Farang @Natasha_Jay

Elected politicians are motivated by what they think the electorate cares about.

In a system where party spending is largely unconstrained (hopefully Musk is providing the current government with an incentive to fix this: it’s never been a priority because the two parties that stand a chance can usually outspend everyone else and like it that way), they are motivated by the issues that let them raise money.

I didn’t donate because I expect the Good Law Project to change things (though I hope they will), I donated to send a clear message to the Labour Party that there is money available for candidates who actively support human rights.

@david_chisnall @Fat_Farang @Natasha_Jay The Good Law Party for the win, Jolyon Maugham in number ten.
