@arnan clean install every time? Or just no new Mac's? They do last well if you can stand the old macOS.
I'm currently trying to clean off & recycle a 2011 iMac and a 2009 Mac Mini

It's my moment of resetting everything and not bringing along 10 year old baggage from ~/Library and stuff like that.
Macs were much better with older macOS too.
@arnan hah - I just keep buying bigger drives. And since my Mac’s don’t go away quickly they become backups for each other. Maybe I should do a clean install someday. (Not today) 😊
