@JoshuaHolland Sadly, her memo does mean that if ICE does said illegal thing, the FBI won't enforce anything related to it. That's the big problem. The courts have and will continue to rule against the administration. But if no one enforces anything, well, tough.

@JoshuaHolland I mean they can. it'll technically still be illegal, but they can. they likely won't ever be prosecuted or face any professional consequences for it. and if you try to stop them you will face consequences. that's the reality of it. law doesn't matter, enforcement does.
