@davesomebody @carnage4life Yeah I think Alfred is the obvious answer.
The Big O (anime Batman) has the main character telling his butler the brakes on his cool car need maintenance and the butler saying he'll take care of it immediately. I think this is in, like, the first episode.
@carnage4life I fully admit to having those instincts, but I only try to follow them if they lead somewhere interesting. Alfred being out of commission making Bruce realize how much maintenance had quietly fallen onto his injured companions shoulders is a fun scenario to explore that could start from the Flatmobile.
If there's a crack in the world, grow something in it, even if it's small, instead of tearing it wider.
In the not-too-distant future --
Next Sunday A.D. --
There was a guy named Joel,
Not too different from you or me.
He worked down in Wayne E. R&D,
Where he saw a few things he shouldn't see,
But he did a good job cleaning up the place,
And Bruce had to keep him quiet
So they tossed him in a cave
When I was reading Batman comics, he DID have a guy who pumped the tires, and changed the oil, looked after the batcave.
This erasure of #HaroldAllnut will not stand.
@carnage4life Into The Badlands immediately saying "the barons banished guns" and never mentioning it again
YES. Eat it, nerds. THAT is how a grown up makes a series about Emily Beecham stabbing dudes in the post apocalypse. It's the premise! Stop pretending you're above everything!
