Guess I'll just have to get started on my PEB obsession...

- Extraordinary Attorney Woo: GREAT!
- Hyper Knife: GREAT... and scary
- Castaway Diva: Great... and she can sing like a singer too?!?
- DYLB?: Well, looks suitably slow burn for now... MDL comments are a bit scary, though in a way that usually means I'll like it... and PEB can play the violin too?! What can't she do?

This is so soft. Moving slowly but still moving. A bit scared of all the pieces put in place for some real angsty stuff later on.

PEB delivers as expected.

Getting a tiiiiny bit of a Something in the Rain vibe (I wish). Just melancholic instead of bubbly.

#DoYouLikeBrahms #kdrama

OMG

Ooof, the drama is dramaing. Lots of mixed signaling first 1/3. Here we go I guess. 😅

#DoYouLikeBrahms #kdrama

.... the tension...
Can’t have a drama without drama. 😅
I guess part of the SitR vibes comes from having multiple actors who’s been in both. As well as OSN and TMRiH 😅
… they better get this sorted in the next 28 minutes 🥺

Song Ah’s professor is a real asshole. Hoping for some karma.

At least the SongYoung ship is sailing quite calmly (for a kdrama)

🌊

Real asshole energy from Sung Jae too

#DoYouLikeBrahms #kdrama

This drama's been pretty light on the societal bullshit prejudices but I guess the format requires som bs at this stage.

They've been refreshingly good at resolving stuff quickly and in a straight forward way so far so here's hoping.

WTF

Nnngh, the pain and angst halfway through this episode.

#DoYouLikeBrahms #kdrama

You know it's serious business when they don't have a preview for the next episode

Well… that was something extra. Heart wrenching slow burn to the bones. Park Eun-bin is phenomenal.

Now I need something extremely fluffy like Sh**ting Stars to recharge. 😅

#DoYouLikeBrahms #kdrama

… also. Mom’s gonna need brain surgery: don’t tell Se Ok, uh, Song Ah.

@joakimfors I could finish and enjoy Do You Like Brahms but I couldn't get past the first episodes with Something In The Rain.

They're both slow paced, but the plot in DYLB is definitely more intriguing. So are the dialogues

@s1m0n4 Haha, interesting. I wish I could inject the first half of SitR in my veins. The tension and bubbliness is perfect. The end of SitR Ep 3 is just EPIC!

... last 1/3 of SitR is  though 😅

#SomethingInTheRain #kdrama

@joakimfors No, there won't be any shouting, any overly dramatic moment and there won't be any physical violence either.

You can rest assured, it's one of a kind in the #kdrama world 😄

@s1m0n4 Yes… that was special.

@joakimfors Have you finished it?

It's been a while since I watched it but I remember that I was really seduced by the slow pace, the quiet conversations, the overall calm even when characters feel anger and anguish, the politeness and the enjoyable romance.

#kdrama

@s1m0n4 Yes, finished it. And same. I liked that they almost always cleared up any misunderstandings and communicated clearly. Just a few "erase typed IM messages" tropes

I really enjoy these slow "introverted" dramas even though the hurt the most. 😅

I'll put this one in the same folder as My Liberation Notes and The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.
