Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK@Npars01 birth rate is definitely down round here, earlier in the year I was helping put the antenna for the community radio station on the top of the general hospital maternity block (9 floors) and what struck me was how few of the floors are actually used these days for mothers and babies (the middle part is empty and top floors now used for a chronic pain clinic, the sort of thing you would need for an ageing local population)
What I see are downtowns entirely devoid of children.
Malls with very few teens.
Public parks with not one child on the playground.
Consolidation of kid's sports facilities because there aren't enough players signing up.
