AptiviUbuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka release schedule
The next short-term support version of Ubuntu, called the Questing Quokka, finally has a release schedule posted on the Ubuntu Discourse forum post. This is to give you an idea of how Ubuntu will plan for the release of this version.

- April 24th: Toolchain uploaded
- June 26th: Ubuntu Testing Week (optional)
- August 14th: Feature and Debian import freezes
- August 21st: Ubuntu Testing Week (optional)
- September 4th: User interface freeze
- September 11th: Documentation string freeze and kernel feature freeze
- September 15th: Beta and hardware enablement freezes
- September 18th: Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka Beta release
- September 25th: Kernel freeze and non-language-pack translation deadline
- October 2nd: Final freeze, Language pack translation deadline, and Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka Release Candidate
- October 9th: Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka Final release
