@mvario

we tried to warn them

@mvario Do men understand this will mean they get much less sex even if they're married? Or at least have to pay for condoms?

@Nazani @mvario most of the guys I know who went right wing are very unhappy in life which usually means they're not sexually active and haven't been for a long time. So they just can't imagine a second order consequence like that because women and sex are already more remote than they'd like to admit consciously.

If I can observe this anecdotally, political strategists know it intimately.

@mvario a long time ago, some comedians put into song - "Every sperm is sacred".
@mvario @_L1vY_ This is why I never put any stock in his blathering about making #IVF free. Sure, it will be free because it won’t exist. And I know that there were those who voted for him based on that so-called promise.

@Thumper1964 @mvario

I saw some interviews to that effect, too. I can't but shake my head. The level of disinformation is staggering, and the credulity is twice as staggering.

@mvario

This assault on reproductive rights and on civil rights in general is financed by billionaires.

Corporations breed billionaires. Our pennies finance corporations.

Boycott corporations.

Stores like Walmart, data centers, fulfillment centers, take more out of your town than they generate in revenues and taxes. They dismantle your community and then they sow the economic soil with salt to stop anything else from replacing them when they abandon your community.

Costco members: you can get BC pills online. The price has gone up a little since I last looked, but it's still about $200 for a year's worth. (Was about $180 before). If you have teens in your life, or will have, good idea to stock some.

Also: CVS pharmacy has OTC Plan B (~$50) and Aftera (~$30). Four-year shelf life. My CVS has it displayed on the shelf right under where you pick up prescriptions.

@_L1vY_ @mvario This suggests that storing in a refrigerator (5 C) under dry conditions could extend the shelf life to well past 4 years.

"*Stability of drug substance*
The MAH has submitted stability data on the drug substance stored at 25Β°C/60%RH (up to 5 years) and 40Β°C/75%RH (6 months). All parameters remain stable throughout the test periods at both temperatures. On the basis of the available stability data the claimed re-test period of 4 years, without temperature restriction, was granted."

It seems only fair that if contraception is against "God's" your limp dick must also be "God's will" so we must also ban Viagra and Testosterone boosting supplements.
@mvario They will go after Trans HRT soon, too.
@mvario USA is just so fucking bizarre. They talk how much they care about kids yet they have the most school shootings and do nothing. They care so much about kids, but schooling them puts you in debt for half of your life if you can even aford it to begin with. And now they went after abortions and further against contraceptions. Oh and also lets fire women from jobs when they get pregnant, because we care about kids so so much! Their logic is so contradictory and fucked up it's wild.

Unpopular opinion I know, but imagine how much better the world would be if the Abrahamic God was officially debunked in a court of law.

@mvario When #RedStates started going after #Roe while #Biden was still president, I posted on here that #IUDs would be next (and if successful, then The Pill.)

All that nonsense they ran on about "#Abortion simply being returned to the states" was obvious hogwash. Every "win" only emboldens them.
