@doganursus I've no idea. I think it might be a lemon.

The Bluetooth connection to the app worked only once, I could not access the web-based management interface, and when it finally got connected to my network, it was not recognized as a Unifi device and only provided 100mbps network speeds. An attempt at a factory reset was also unsuccessful. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@gadgetboy nice hardware ! I use #Protectli hardware to get #Coreboot + TPM out of the box. A bit pricier but worth it IMO. Check this guy's #OPNsense playlists to get started (including Wifi): https://www.youtube.com/@homenetworkguy/playlists

@magicfab The Protectli hardware is more than I want to spend right now. (I just spent an unreasonable sum on a home lab upgrade.) 😉

Thanks for the Opnsense pointer. Will definitely check it out. All I want at first is to quickly restore my network. I can progress from there.

@gadgetboy Surething, choice is always good. Love the small form factor of your choice! Forums and Reddit are excellent resources too.

@magicfab I feel like I spend all my time on Reddit and YouTube these days. 🤣

@gadgetboy For YouTube I download with yt-dlp and listen at 1.75x w/o ads.

@magicfab I should do that for tutorial videos but these are the ones I actually get value from. I want to make sure the creators get their ad revenue. I even watch ads in which I have zero interest.

@magicfab Yeah - some don’t offer it. I will sometimes send a donation to those that do.

@gadgetboy I mostly avoid Reddit unless it's from suggestions in Mastodon posts 😂
