14missionLast of the #SanDiego trip pictures. This is the Giant Dipper at Belmont Park. It's a near-twin of Santa Cruz's Giant Dipper.
A few years ago I took some pictures the Dipper at the SC Boardwalk and the white framing was not very well distinguished from the sky behind it, and that's when it really clicked that I needed to try filters. So I applied that lesson here and it works. Also got a sky that looks a bit more dramatic than it really was, but not complaining about that.
