Have been trying to identify and collect the seeds of a Heptacodium / Seven son flower tree. They form in the late autumn at the bottom-ends of the former small white flowers that turn red when the seeds start to grow. With the red/brownish petals still attached the seeds drop off in the winter.
The plan is world domination to plant and grow these, see what happens.
this could be one of the sprouting heptacodium seeds 🌱 planted three months earlier (no positive id yet already happy that it looks so healthy).
