My first time here in something like 30 years, and I have to say Germany is pretty kick-ass.

Okay, I haven’t actually left Frankfurt, but it’s awesome.

Well, I’ve not left the airport, but you know what I mean.

Okay okay, I’ve mostly been in the Lufthansa Business Lounge, but…

Okay fine, I sat down in this chair and promptly fell asleep for 4 hours.

But this chair in Germany is pretty kick-ass!

No dig meant at Germany. I’m a little punchy after the trans-Atlantic flight and missing my connection and needing to last until I finally get to Norway around midnight.

I really need to get back to Germany for its own visit, but that’ll have to be another trip.

@mwyman that’s funny, last time I missed a connection it was to go to Germany, and I was redirected to Norway.

@giuseppe I missed the connection in Frankfurt due to delays leaving Seattle. Got re-booked on a 9pm flight to Bergen, so I had half the day to be a zombie in Frankfurt.
