🚀 Orbital Proximity Analysis of Plan-S Satellite and Space Technologies Satellites: 70 Events in 1 Hour!
Using to live TLE data from Space-Track, I analyzed potential close approaches between 5 active Plan-S satellites currently in LEO.
📍 Observer location: #Ankara, #Türkiye
⏱️ Time frame: 1 hour (with checks every 5 minutes)
📡 Data source: Live #TLE from #SpaceTrack
📏 Proximity threshold: 10,000 km (for testing)

🔍 What happened?
Even with just 5 satellites, the script flagged 70 #potential proximity events — not collision risks, but clear signs of dense orbital spacing within this mini-constellation.

🗺️ As part of the analysis:
I generated both 2D and 3D maps to #visualize these close approaches.
I'm now expanding the model to include all 13 Plan-S #satellites
Next step: run realistic risk simulations with thresholds of 10 km and below.

💡 This test shows just how critical orbital traffic management will become — even in small constellations.
Happy to share the CSV outputs, code, or visuals with anyone interested in conjunction analysis or satellite operations!
