Here are the stated goals of the legislation, which, keep in mind, replaced legislation we were working on that would have given children basic rights and would have included religious #TroubledTeenIndustry programs making #ReligiousExemptions a thing of the past. This legislation does not.

First of all, religious #TroubledTeenIndustry programs are already basically not monitored or studied and this legislation #SICAA does nothing to require them to be studied. In fact it will likely serve as a feel good reason to not revisit this subject in the future; something I warned against.

Everything #ParisHilton did makes my job, and the job of other #survivors, of #religious #TroubledTeenIndustry programs harder not easier. She has repeatedly refused to address #ReligiousExemptions to #ChildAbuse because she is in bed with #ChildAbusers like #MittRomney.

Basically, to sum it up, the reason why I hate #ParisHilton, and I try not to hate anyone, is she is in bed with the very architects of the industry she says she is opposing and she valued their input more than the survivors who entrusted her to raise up our movement and pass legislation.

She is a #fraud, a #grifter, and is abusing her grandfather's charity fund through various charities she has her gf's run for her. It is a giant grift slash RICO operation that she uses to sift funds from her grandfather who is dead and cut her out of his will.

We have the #GOA. That is essentially what #SICAA is trying to be. We don't need SICAA and we never did. It is the poison pill shoved down survivors throats after #ParisHilton decided to get in bed with the architects of the industry she says she is trying to oppose.

Does anyone really believe this will make a difference and if so how? I see nothing here except a bunch of people agreeing to review the torture and trauma that this industry inflicts and do what exactly? There's no commitments no further action being discussed. This is worthless.

By comparison we were designing legislation together that would require these basic things and more: 3 meals a day water always available Reasonable work conditions Limitations on restraints used ETC #SICAA does NONE OF THAT We were told "it won't pass". What basic rights for kids?! Wont pass?!

No what happened is #ParisHilton saw a #grift she couldn't resist and they used sexism misandry and some willing survivors to ensure she was able to pull it off. She played them like fiddles. In the end a historic opportunity was squandered. I hope those ladies are proud of themselves now.

In closing if #SICAA was to work it would only be because Senators and House Reps decided the information about the trauma & abuse of children mattered to them enough to pass state or national legislation and as of this date to most of them it does not matter and they've been given that info already

The entire point of #ParisHilton 's trips to #DC was to present that need for national legislation not call for more inquiry into it. The fact that all of our efforts were completely trashed to pass a worthless, meaningless survey, covering much of what the #GOA already does is infuriating.

There is simply no requirements in this bill for religious institutions, which are some of the most cruel and inhumane in the entire #TroubledTeenIndustry. There is no enforcement mechanism that I'm aware of in this bill. It can be said it is toothless legislation that will no doubt be ignored.

Then, when someone, like me, or another survivor who wants actual change, not a survey, not for us to talk about it, actual real life change; it becomes much harder for us to get support and come up with a bill because people say that job is already done when it isn't.

#MittRomney knows the #ParisHIlton family. Paris is a plant and an obvious one. They planted her in our movement and used her to destroy legislation we had in the works and any plan or effort to reform the industry especially any plan to get rid of #ReligiousExemptions.
