I’m no fancy Attorney General with a law degree from a Baptist university, but I’m pretty sure that you have to charge someone in order to prove it. And if you don’t charge them but still punish them, you’re a fucking tyrant.

It's driving me insane that few note that "#DueProcess" is *literally* IN THE #CONSTITUTION.

AND...

It extends to EVERYONE ON U.S. SOIL (not just "citizens.") It's the entire reason "#Gitmo" exists. B/c if they were on U.S. soil, those prisoners would be entitled to Due Process.

It also bans "cruel & unusual punishment". #Deporting people to a prison known for torture qualifies.

The #Potus took an oath to "uphold the Constitution". This is unquestionably a violation. #Impeach

Before he became our second president, lawyer John Adams famously defended captured Red Coats who were involved in "The Boston Massacre" during the Revolutionary War.

We put them on trial b/c our #Constitution assured them of #DueProcess. The #FoundingFathers extended the right to EVERYONE b/c they believed Due Process WAS A HUMAN RIGHT.
