For me, the true value of conferences is in the community. The talks are cool, some have been properly impactful for me, and sprints can be wonderful. But the main reason I come to these things is so that I can have conversations and build relationships.
The best way to do this is:
- Talk to lots of people
- Aim to add value, even in small ways
