An long-shot I should try: If anyone in the #Madison Wisconsin area is a fan of vintage alto saxophones, I find myself in possession of three Beaugnier (Vito/Noblet) saxes that *really* need loving homes.

I love them as craft-pieces I have no room for.

But my lips can't do alto... at all.. ever. I have one baritone and it's all I'll ever play and these things are just here.

Fabulous intonation, begging to be re-homed to someone (with students?) who can take care of these hand-made lovelies.

I didn't have room for tags in that but please share: #madison #madisonwi #sax #saophone #altosax #vintagesax

I'm not looking to sell these guys - especially if a teacher who could put them in the hands of students who could make use of them.

(wouldn't turn down any re-homing fee offered of course).

Hand made 1950's - mid 60's altos by Beaugnier in Paris (made across the street from Selmer, sometimes by the same guys).

I just can't do alto :-/.

I was iffy on whether I liked the sound of alto to begin with when I got the baritone, but I wound up with these three siblings because they are the altos who's sound I found I liked the most and disliked the least.

Then I got the bari. And a few days later I literally couldn't play the alto anymore. Doubling, I cannot. (Though I'm fine with bari+clarinet? IDGI).

Living in too small of a space to be housing these guys. And Bari needs room... literally... 'cause its a bari.
