@splotted Even more sad, GenAI is not totally to blame for these cartoon robotic metaphors.

The file name itself reflects the problem is in the *person* at the prompt box who asks the magic Genie for "Vector art of college professor who is a robot" You ask GenAI for robots, you get 'em. The masculine representation and education as books metaphor? Well thats in the machine.

@cogdog @splotted Were the #CalState decision-makers chumps/suckers for paying OpenAI, when Altman was about to make ChatGPT free for students anyway?

Or... could OpenAI make it free for all students because the Cal State system (among others) got pulled into that deal?
