Jeff SpencerOK, I'm a Boomer stuck in my ways, but why are "white goods" not white any more?
I don't change my kitchen design that often, and pleasingly haven't had to change many appliances in recent years, but here in the UK I've found it surprisingly hard to find an all white washing machine. Clearly, all black is the 'in colour' for those starting afresh. But why put "arty", I would call ugly, black portholes on all the latest 'white' models - Bosch, AEG, Hotpoint - they all do it. It's a bit like fridge/freezers went all silver a while back. (Don't get me started on "American style" which must be near unsellable now.)
So I've rejected the latest Smart-wash, AI-aided eco-efficient 2025 models and opted for one of the few previous generation al-white models instead.
