Interesting Monkey@lo_fye ya, also maybe we are visually skimming text in weird ways. We might be worse if it only showed text one word in front of where we were speaking. Even just knowing roughly how long your current sentence is when you’re reading it could help with intonation.
@interestingmonkey True. That could easily be tested, either by feeding the words to someone one at a time, or by blanking out the lines above and below the one currently being read... I mean, if I had a lab and participants 😬
